Bosnia is one of those places I heard about growing up but never thought I’d visit. I’m definitely glad we chose to go through Bosnia on this trip. I love the contrasts and the diversity. For example, I photographed orthodox churches and mosques on the same day, and saw women in hijab having a cup of coffee with women in skin-tight clothes. I know they had a war based on religion and ethnicity but, when you look at daily life from the outsider perspective, you see harmony among people.
