During the first part of our time in Slovenia, we stayed in Ljubljana and explored nearby attractions from there. Now we are in the mountains, exploring the lakes and Julian Alps area. As I worked through my photos, I realized that it would be impossible for me to post only ten photos from this beautiful country. Instead, I decided that I would choose ten photos from the first half, which are below, and then post another ten from our time in the mountains. So here’s Part I. Enjoy!

Yay! Glad you enjoyed the photos! It is truly beautiful here!
I’m fascinated by your travelogue. My father’s family emigrated from Slovenia, (grandma from Ljubljana) but they could not tell us about their country since they never spoke English. Paola, I told you many years ago that you were a GREAT photographer! I’m really enjoying sharing in your adventures.
